eBooks are now available through a product called OverDrive.  It may be a little tricky to get through the process the first time, however after you’ve been through it once it gets a lot easier.

As there are different  requirements for different eReaders it is advisable to look through  the ‘My Help …Customized help for your computer or device’ information first. This advises you what software you need to download for your particular device.

Music (Freegal)

Subscription ends on January 24 2018
Freegal Music has made the Sony Music Entertainment catalogue of songs available and library members can download 3 songs each week and keep them forever, it’s free and legal.

Customers can download songs 24/7 at home to their computer, MP3 player or mobile device.


 eAudiobooks (Bolinda)    

Audiobooks are now available to download at home from the Library website. Bolinda Digital have audiobooks for all ages, for your iPod, PC or any MP3 player.

You can connect to the Bolinda Digital website, and follow the three easy steps – Search, Borrow and Download.

Two eAudiobooks may be borrowed at a time. If you reserve an eAudiobook this will count as a loan, as soon as it becomes available it will be automatically checked out to you and you will be   alerted by an email.

No reservation fees or overdue fees apply to eAudiobooks.
